- Murals & Canvas -

Joehydra Creative Art proposes two possibilities of realisation, creating the painting directly on site or preparing a canvas to depict the desired subject.

Evidently, it would be much more convenient, in respect of both time and ease, for the work to be painted on canvas and sent to the recipient and subsequently attached to its intended support. The painting on canvas can be rolled up and sent with an express courier or by airmail. Assembling the painting is relatively simple but it is recommended to ask an expert.

In order to quote the price of a painting it is necessary to take into account the elements involved, as the price varies per metre squared (for murals) or centimetre squared (for paintings of smaller dimensions) according to the degree of detail involved.

It is necessary at this point to do a sketch of the idea that the client aims to realise, in order to understand the various parts (sky, architecture, illustration, etc.) and subsequently draw up an extremely precise contract.


- Sculptures & Design -

The quote is calculated by dimension, materials used, constructive difficulty and, as for a painting, detail of the paintwork required.


1. The first step is to discuss both the idea that the client wishes to realise and the dimensions involved (base x height in centimetres or metre squared). Usually our clients send photographs of the area to be used to for the work along with images they hope will inspire the artist.
 
2. After having understood the idea, a watercolour sketch will be developed. If it is not possible to present the proposal in person, the sketch and the contract, which includes the expense of postage and packing, will be sent for the clients approval. In order to do this, a deposit of $ 100.00 is required, which will be subtracted from the total cost of the work.

3. The project will begin after a payment relative to 50% of the estimate has been received which, in case of withdrawal will not be refunded.

4. Once the work has been finished, the client will be notified and asked for payment in full of the amount previously agreed.

5. At this point, the piece of work will be sent (via air or land). This will include advice and instructions on how to display the work which should be given to an upholsterer or a specialist in wall mounting. (Regarding painting on canvas, the work will be sent already fixed and ready to be placed in position)
